Mid-America has tops for the C4 verts and the glass window conversion kit.

Go to this link to the MAM webpage for information.

Here are two sites I recently found (do not know anything about either) however they tout having rear glass windows. Once the summer is over in Arizona I plan on putting a new top on my '90 vert. If you are familiar with either company and can recommend or give the stay away nod it would be most appreciated.

Hope this helps......................

You can find replacement tops on ebay fairly reasonable. Just do a search there for convertible top corvette.

I Bought Mind From Ecklers, And Works Real Well. I Even Have A Rear Defroster, So Look For The Wires On Right Side Under The Carpet.

Unless the 92 came with the factory hardtop (which has a defogger) there will not be a ground wire on the driver's side. The orange hot lead is on the passenger side.

One other concern will be the button that is supposed to operatethe defogger. Depending on the type of HVAC system (manual or C68 Electroninc Climate Control), there may not be a way to operate the defogger if the car didn't come with a hardtop.

This only applies to the earlier verts with the plastic window; when they went to the glass window as standard, the defogger grid was part of the new top.

I found the orange/black lead that goes to the defogger, but I had to install a ground for the other side of the hard top's leads. I have the C68 HVAC system with the defog button for the mirrors. I was lead to believe that the orange/black lead was on that circuit. I guess it's time to test the circuit. My vert didn't come with a hard top.
