do 86 l98's have a 1 or 2 piece rear main seal?

I believe they are two piece. Later they went to one.

i know there were 350s with 1 peice and no roller provisions but i don't know the casting number of an 86 l98 to check my cheat sheet.

I run an 86 myself - as far as I know, all 86's had the 1 piece rear main seal, but no roller-lifter provision in any of the blocks.

i thought it was 86 that was the first year.. and 87 is roller cams.. thanks for the help..
