I have an 88 Vette Anniversary Edition and just recently it started having this problem. It starts up and runs but it will not idle unless I keep my foot on the gas pedal. I just gave it a tune-up: plugs, wires... etc. What could this be?
In addition, I've noticed that it is leaking antifreeze. I've inspected the hoses and the radiator and they seem to be fine. Where else could it be leaking from?

What about the throttle position sensor and the IAC (idle air control?). There
are all kinds of things on the throttle body that can cause this problem. I wish I could give you more specific info, but I'm just not that familiar with it. At least this will bring the post back up to the top so somebody else might see it. Good luck.

Where is the coolant leaking from? Is it showing up on top or around the intake?? The intakes do come loose (I had a major problem getting this diagnosed) and when the fuel rail came off to check it, some of the bolts came out with my fingers!!! :seeya
