Default Cat Back

I installed a Flowmaster exaust today (50 series I think) What a difference in the sound! Because this is a DD, performance wasn't an issue. Loud enough to sound good but quiet enough that you don't have to turn up the stereo or yell at the passenger. About $700 and because I don't want to the corrupt the stock configuration of this special car the system looks stock. (except I painted it to match the Vette body color.)

I've always liked the 50 series, but $700 is nuts. Hope the tips are gold-plated. If you like it I guess that's all that counts.

I thought the price was high but I bought from Flowmaster direct. I assumed it would be Stainless Steel but I was wrong. The system started to rust before I had a chance to paint it. (garaged)Oh well learned a lesson.

You got an excelent system. I put mine on 2 years ago and still like both the sound and the looks of this cat back set. Your price was a little high compared to the price charged by Summit. But again, if you like it that's all that really matters. You most likely have the "aluminized steel" system. It should last you for many years if you only drive your car Spring, Summer and Fall. Winter salt would be very hard on this system. Best wishes.

Thanks for the I took the old system out in 2 hours with 1&1/2 hands but the new flowmasters took me about 1/2 hour to install.
