Default help with horn please

i am replacing the stock steering wheel with a Grant wheel. bought the correct adapter etc. the horn didn't work since i bought the car, i checked the fuse and connection to the horn itself it's all goo, except i don't have a horn on the left side.

when i took off the original wheel i tried to see and there is no power to the steering colum, any ideas? what color wire am i looking for?
thanks

If you don't mind my asking ,where did you get the adapter kit? I have a Grant GT Series wheel but have not been able to find a kit. By the way sounds like you have a ground problem. You have to have a good ground in order to get power.

Make sure the anti theft fuse is not blown, this is wired into the horn for some crazy reason (stupid design IMO)

my anti theft system in the door locks always go off, so I had to pull the fuse... now I can't honk like a maniac at anyone. its quite frustrating

I checked all the fuses, on the pass side, is that the only spot?
thanks

I can tell you the ground for the horn runs through the turn signal lever. The horn on my 86 would not work. I had to have the dealer replace the turn signal lever. It works fine now..
