Good 383 Combo?
Any issues with power brakes? Car is a 6 speed.
Any thoughts are welcomed.

I love my Miniram.

IMO, I think a 210-220 CC head is more realistic for your power goals, and I think you need to expect to spin the engine to 7K.
I've been dinking with a car at work that's pretty impressive, it's a 1994 Formula with a 396 cubic inch LT1. It's a pretty basic combo:
Stock LT1 heads, ported, bigger valves, etc... I don't know what they CC at, but they are over 200 and it seems like they flowed very near 300 CFM at .600. I can't remember the flow sheet off the top of my head.
A big solid roller. 240/250 or so, and about .610 lift.
A pretty killer bottom end; lightweight forged crank, forged rods, and some super light weight, small skirt, really short, pistons.

It makes ~450 RWHP, ~440 RWTQ, and is a blast to drive on the street. The car is completely driveable, has no problem pulling vacuum, has A/C, and is pretty routinely driven from NC to Indiana for the yearly F-body shoot out up there.
Anyway, my point is that to make the kind of power you are looking for (more than this car) you'll need heads that flow more than his 200+ CC ones, and probably more RPM. 7,000 RPM, a big solid roller, and some 210+ CC AFR heads should get you dang close to what you are looking for. If you can get someone to nail the tune it should be pretty tame (all things considered).
Good luck!
