Here are a couple of pictures of the Autopower roll bar I have in my 85. You would not be able to store the roof panel in the back in the stock holders with this rollbar. There have been past post from people that have roll bars in C4's that allow the roof panel to still be stored in the stock location if that matters to you.
Great Looking Car VanSpeed! Do you have a high res pic of your Avatar Photo?
Sort of, I scanned the photo to make the Avatar. Its ok for a scanned image. I guess I could try to email to you if you are interested, PM me your email if you like.
Im curious as to where do the tubes get welded to the frame and if anybody has pics showing where the main hoop is welded to the frame.
I do not have photos of the mounting. But what I did was cut away the fiberglass behind the seats and in front of the rear speakers enough to expose the frame in those locations. Then plates are welded to the frame at those locations. Then the roll bar is either bolted to the plates or welded to the plates. If you are just going for a weld in only you could weld the roll bar directly to the frame in those same locations.
