question about cloyes 3145 chain
i just installed my new cam and cloyes double rollor 9-3145 chain. no problem. then i put the reluctor ring on and when i slide it on the crank up against the sprocket on the crank, it is between the 2 keyways on the crank.
the rear keyway barely sticks out past the sprocket. not enough for the reluctor to grab. what am i missing ????
do you use the reluctor ring with the double rollor chain or do i leave it out? ohh yes i went with the mez elec hd wp.

i went and looked at it and figured why i can't justmove the key back. so i taped the key with my brass hammer and it slid back flush with the rear key. then the reluctor went on fine.
but if i'm not supposed to use it i have to take the timing cover off and remove it
??????
