Default Edelbrock's New Blower Setup

anyone know anything about Edelbrock's new blower setup?
it's actually kind of expensive, but is it just like a bolt on thing? that would make it worth it, i know the other blower setups require a lot of fabrication and "test and tune" and that sort of thing, if this thing would bolt on a regular engine, (like a 10:1 comp eng) and support 500HP or more, it might be worth it, anyone know anyone who has bolted one on? pleeze feel free to chime in......

The front snout appears to be longer the old B&M/Weiand (I could be wrong). Im not criticizing it, I would just be concerned about twisting the front of the crank off.
Street blowers are a blast, though!

Fwiw, the whole "bolt on and go packages"..usually based on having a certain motor configuration. XX cam, heads, etc . Still would benefit from minor tuning Im sure.

I dig EFI but would give it up in a hot second for a street blower setup, unfortunately wouldnt be legal out here on a C4.

Looks like the old 122/144 style but with a Magnacharger guts.

The 122/144 require fuel to go through the blower to keep it cooled and lubricated. The current Magnachargers don't. I don't know about that one.

The 122/144 drive, which is looks like they kept, is too long to fit in the chassis w/o altering the crossmember infront of the engine.

Though I've seen the 122/144 installed in a C4.

I've got a pic, I'll post it later for you.

Here's a 144
Like Ron said, there's no provision for an EGR.

BTW Magnacharger is coming out with an SB/LTX blower just like there LSX blower, complete with EFI
