Nope, and I have exploded the clutch. Thankfully, i still have 10 intact piggies. Took out a lot of stuff (bellhousing, R header, TO bearing sleeve on trans, wiring harness) on the underside and left garbage scattered for a city block (or more).

You can use a universal sbc bellhousing blanket made by Deist or other manufacturers. Just wrap it around your bellhousing, and they are NHRA legal. You will probably have to have the back of the trans hanging down to get it into place. And it's alot less weight than a steel scattershield.
