Have a friend with a C4...He bought one out of the country (in USA), had it shipped here. Noticed the pass side rear wheel was inboard 1-1/2",took a spacer to get it to look right. The gap between the top of the quarter panel and the hatch glass on the pass side is almost nil, the DS is normal. Obviously the car has had damage....No trace of repair work done underneath at least in the rear susp area. Dont know if the 1/4 wa replaced improperly, hopefully the halo was not tweaked to cause this. Hes no too concerned about that, its getting the rearend pulled so its normal again.

1) Can something like this be "pulled", what is the best way?

2)GM keeps a spec sheet on cars they build with some kind of reference to where "square" is, basically like reference measurements.

How do you find this information?

Where this person is at there is just 0 Know how on Corvettes in his country so this will be a difficult one for him but hes willing to tackle it being as the whole car is gone through and modded the way he wants.

Carfax came up clean by the way. Hes not looking to go after the prior owner, just wants to fix his C4.

Default Check the FSM for alignment & wheel offsets

Before your friend starts working on his C4, check the wheel that came off to make sure that it had the correct offset for his model year. They're not all the same. (These have been posted in the FAQ section.)

Likewise, the FSM has the correct alignment specs as well as the tolerances for his model year.

Hope this helps!

The specs you need are in the Helms. I have an 86 book and could email some pics of it if that will help. Pulling the frame woul require removing the bumper and spare tire at least.
To move the rear over, Offset bushings in the batwing caould be fabricated and that would maybe be a less invasive, less expensive possibility.
The wheel thing is a good idea. I would have a look at that first.

SpankYellow if you'd be willing to do that Im sure he owuld appreciate it. He has a badazz car, it would be a shame for him to sell it at this point and start over.
