Fuel Pressure Advice
I've recently fitted an Accel adjustable fuel pressure regulator and followng local advice set it to run at 52 on tickover..
Is this right? has anyone got any other suggestions or ideas??
My 'vette is a '94 LT1 auto with 3.07's with a stock motor, bar a couple of basic bolt ons.

Jakester I think your pressure is a little high for a stock motor. My L 98 has alot of bolt on's and my fuel pressure is at 40 and maybe could go even a little lower like 38. I would lower it. Hook your pressure gage to the fuel rail remove the vacum line start it up then lower it some and don't forget to put the vacum hose back on and take her for a ride. If it stumbles you might have to lower it some more. Pipe

I agree with everyone else. You should be at or around 40#.

The cars not missing at all or running rough, but I just felt that 52 just sounded too high.
Can anyone tell me what the factory setting should be at tickover? and also what's the best to set it at?
The general census thus far seems to be 40 at tickover.

Assuming you have stock injectors maybe 48psi (w/o vacuum) would be better.
Your LT1 makes ~300chp as does my modified L98 (see dyno pulls) and 48psi gives me just about ideal A/F at WOT.
