the 5 amp crank fuse runs to the clutch switch (purple wire) or p/n switch on an auto car and then the control side of the start enable relay(yellow wire) and then to the to the ccm(yellow and black wire) (central control module) that grounds that circut and turns on the start enable relay. I'd take a good look at the wires them probably try a relay, that would be cheapest, unless your really good with a mult-meter and can trace the short, hope this helps.

yes, I was thinking of changing the relay since it is only a few $$$. However, I cant find the darn thing anywhere... do you know where it is?
