I just installed my missing EGR relay that attaches on one of the thermostat bolts. The issue is I think it's leaking vacuum when it's switched on. It has 2 vacuum connections that are in the plug and one on the other end of the relay that looks like it should have somehting on it. It has a metal clip on it that looks like it holds a hose from coming off or a plug maybe. Does anybody have a picture of this or can tell me if yours has a plug on it or a vacuum line? I don't see more than 2 connections on the vacuum diagram but I don't know. Thanks.
No vac line to the little clip. PM me your email address and I can send a pic, if needed.
Does it have a plug or anything on it? Or is it just the clip? I'm wondering if it supposed to have a plug to keep the vacuum from leaking out. I would imagine they used the relay on more than one model.
If you have a pic that would be great.
That makes sense. I'll have to check another place for my leak. I may have an EGR that's leaking. It didn't start running rough until I put the EGR controls back on it. It only starts doing it after it warms up.
