gtech meter - better lookout!!!!
Acceleration runs and hp runs at the same time, serial port for connection to a computer, internal storage for a ton of data runs, setup for rollout timing to better simulate a 1/4 mile run, tilt settings for chassis lift on initial acceleration.
I bought one from http://www.cb-racing.com and it came in 2 days.
The AC-22 is $195 and the AP-22 $255
I have an old Vericom VC2000 (that cost about $500+) that has been very repeatable and accurate but doesn't have any data storage or serial output.
Did about ten runs with both meters and the results recorded averaged within .08 seconds and 1.5 mph with each other in the 1/4 mile.
Not bad, the new Vericom VC3000 is $700 and up, they had better watch out to. http://www.vericom.org
P.S. I gave my G-Tech away years ago.
