Instructions for Install for Trans Cooler
Thanks
AN fitting on the radiator and the other line pushed onto the stock flared hard line.

Metal straps for mounting, using the bolt holes from the aux fan which I removed.

Total cost was low and install time was short.

Then put the above 90° bend for hose barb onto it.
The weird thing about this cooler is the air doesn't pass straight through.. It is deflected at about a 30* angle as it goes through the cooler.. so to get the airflow right the fitting lines face the opposite side of where the tranny lines are.. I wanted a clean install and worried about chaffing etc.. with using just rubber lines.. so I hard bent some brake lines... Getting the correct fittings for this was a trick.. but after several trips (lots of trips) to the hardware and auto parts store I finally got everything I needed.. Feel free to ask questions.. I'm not sure how much this will help.. but you can feel a big temp difference between the intake and the exhaust lines!! I bought a gauge to install but I dont think i'm going to.. the A-piller pod mounts just dont do it for me.. and besides.. its not like I could do anything to make it any cooler...
Oh and this cooler runs in series with the radiator tranny cooler.. (first the fluid goes through the radiator and then through this cooler)..

The trans cooler is a big one and I dont use the original anymore, just hooked the hoses from the new cooler to the original metal pipes.
