Ok, here's my question... I know that more plenum volume is good ( I am even starting to understand why), and I know that shorter runner length move HP/TQ curves up and increases peak HP at the expense of peak TQ (all other things being equal). How much HP/TQ are the SR and SR runners worth over an SR or Big mouth base with semi-siamesed or fully siamesed runners under a stock, but VERY ported, plenum? I just really like the looks of the TPI setup and think the SR kinda wrecks aesthetically, so I am thinking about getting a good base and putting BIG runners on it with a VERY ported stock plenum. Let me know what you guys think, thanks
Re: Plenum volume - more isn't always good - it really does depend on the application. But generally a larger plenum volume is also going to hurt throttle response a bit.

It depends - what is the displacement of the engine it is going on? What are the specs on the heads? The cam? What is the intended operating range? What is the goal for the car?
I have a car identical to yours and i do mean identical except i have the chrome ZR-1 wheels. I have already worked over the injection system except for the DRM base that i need to install. The runners are SLP and everthing has been port matched even the 52mm BBK TB. This weekend i replaced the cat with a Random Tech cat already have a borla cat back system and the new cat sure did some good you could feel in the seat of your pants. Next is to reremove the injection system port match to the rest of the system that has already been worked ( just some touch up work) and put it back together and then get with Craig M. for a new chip. At the present the car feels very good. Also i did a few other mods such as roller rockers 1.6 intake and 1.52 exhaust some distributor work fuel pres regulator , an a ram air pick up sys some work to the cooling system, and some other minor mods. For what it is it preforms fairly well..... :yesnod:
