Default Time to get to work.....

Ok, got the parts speced.

Here's the build

stock shortblock
Super Ram intake
Accel 74219 219/219 cam
1.6 Scorpion RRs
Brodix Heads, 58CC, 180 Runners,
Long Tube Exotic Muscle headers, 1 3/4 primaries

I was getting into a condition of paralysis by analysis, so I moved and ordered the last few parts today.

I have my stock heads, intake, and exhaust manifolds sold to offset some of the costs.

I'm having the intake manifold base, AC bracket, valve covers powder coated to match the outside of the car.

It's almost all apart, the hard stuff anyway, so it won't be long till I start getting it all back together.

Can't wait to see the results after a tune.

Keep us posted. I'd be interested in the results since I'm doing similar mods, except I have a mini-ram, and will be running more cam most likely. Haven't got it all figured out yet.

Before you pick your parts, call TPIS on the mini ram, let them help with cam and head selection. I found out that people run way too much head.

Call manufacturers like Brodix, AFR, Crane, Comp Cams, etc....tell them about your intake, head, and exhaust and see what they reccomend.

Call some local engine builders, they will help you out.

Use the forum as one source to bounce ideas around, but do other homework..

I spent a lot of time figuring this out, maybe too much, but I think I'll have something I'll like.

If one part doesn't match, it can distort the overall performance of the engine and you may not be happy.

An example is when we used to build carbed motors. There were guys throwing 850 CFM carbs on stock 350s. The cars ran worse and were slower. Bigger isn't always better.

SO, do your homework for what you want out of it, then ask opinions until everyone is sick of hearing from you and they start telling you to STFU and search it yourself.
