Default Spark Plug Wire Lengths

Does anyone know the lengths of the spark plug wires for a 92 LT1 engine (p)? I have lived through that blook sucking drivers side , but want to make sure I've placed the correct length plug wire from the spark plug to the coil pack.

My '86 vert. was a basket-case when I picked her up. The previous owner had installed Autolite Pro-Fit spark plug cables. The routing was incorrect, and all the seperators were missing. I have a Taylor High-Energy Universal wire kit that I want to use, but I'm not sure that the existing Autolite wires are the right length. Do they really need to be a particular length? Wouldn't the shortest possible length offer less resistance? Thanks

Most pre assembled wire sets are not exactly correct. They usually make several too long. The best way to install wires on our 92 is to custom make the wires. MSD has a good cutting and crimping tool and you can get the wires just the right length. I used all 90 degree plug boots as they cleared my exhaust the best.
