Question on backfiring 84 crossfire???
Ok I finally put together my blown head gasket project my block was already 30 over so i went with 190cc aluminuim heads and 1.5 roller rockers and ported the intake it is running very smooth at idle AND WHEN ITS WARMED UP. but when i first start and accelerate(cold) it back fires and when I take for a spin around 4000 rpm it feels like it starving for fuel.Which it never did before my upgrades.I have the stock fuel pump and injectors and distributor.Do I upgrade the pump?? The Injectors???

Yes, you should upgrade the fuel pump to an 85 TPI fuel pump and you should also adjust the fuel pressure to 14PSI. This should stop the lean out condition you are getting at the upper RPM's. You should also replace the fuel filter if you have not changed it yet.
