New Ads bog down server
The new ads at the top of the forum pages really slow down loading. I have to wait 6-7 seconds before I can even move the scroll bar. Need to change something here.

Your luckey, a lot of times all I get is reading fils done and a blank page, have to hit reload button and sometimes still no page, HAVE GIVE UP ON SOME POSTS IN FRUSTRATION NOT BEING ABLE TO GET THEM ON

I've found that the whole page works much better in IE than Netscape. Mozillia seems to be very fast looking at this particular page. Might just give another browser a whirl and see what happens.

I am running IE. I have not had a problem with blank pages, but the loading is still WAAAY slow. This just started happening in the last few days when the new ads went up.

Ah, I've seen that scroll across the bottom of the screen, usually goes pretty quick. Then again I'm on the university network, which is fairly nice at times, but it's usually not as fast as my cable modem at home.
I hate slow ads, it's usually ad.akami.net that takes so long for me.

Cable here and the pages definitely load a lot slower over the past few days. :confused: Hate to see what it looks like on dial up. :eek:

Agree with slowness lately. I also noticed I now have the dreaded doubleclick advertizing when accessing the forum. This may be related to MSN rather than here. :confused: :seeya
