False alarm
My 1990 sixspeed coupe (factory theft deterrent system) had false alarm few days ago. The doors and the hatch were closed and everything was fine. No one had touched the car, it was in a closed garage. The alarm came three times, about three minutes each. Today I checked the system as the manual says and everything should be ok. The door and hatch switches seems work correctly. Why did she had false alarm? Could the weak battery be the culprit? My battery is not very good, it failed once last summer. I charged it and it has worked well since that. And what about the moisture? I washed the car in the evening and the false alarm came in the next night. I appreciate every reply.
