wheel spacers for 1985 corvette, c5 wheels

I have a 1985 vette and I am wanting to put c5 wheels on it. I think the tires I need are 245/45-17 and 275/40-18, but what size wheel spacers or adapters do I need. Thanks!

I put ZO6 after market wheels on my 85 and used 1" adapters. Don't use spacers, you will be asking for trouble.

I got mine from A-DAPT-IT USA WHEEL ADAPTERS. They are 5 x 4.75 to 5 x 4.75 wheel adapters. Their web site is www.adaptitusa.com. Their phone number for customer support is 877-334-2843 and were very helpful. I mounted 17"x9" wheels with 275/40R17 tires.

Mid America also sell the adapters needed for the retro fit.

$200 is awfully steep for parts that allows you to put wheels on.

I put 18 x 11" ZO6 replica wheels w/285x18s on asll four and didn't need any spacers or adapters on my 87, i guess because my wheel width.

You can find them for half that. If I recall I paid $97.00for mine.

I picked up some magnesium c5 wheels for $80, so need some adapters to get them to fit, should be cheap overall for my 85

Yes they are still for sale, ad the interest and a 4 year storage bill for them too

Did you pull a 4+ Year old thread for a set of adapters that you could easily buy on ebay
