Anyone know....
What the difference is between the C-Beam on the D44 and D36?
Is it the same "width" top to bottom in the front and just different in the back, or are they the same with just a different length?
Need to know ASAP - have to get one and have a bunch of C-beam offers for D36s.

For the life of me I can't remember how they differed. I think it was just the length, like the driveshafts but I can't be for sure.

The only difference of consequence is the distance between the front pair of holes and the rear pair. The two holes for either diff, the D36 or D44, have the same spacing. It is just the distance between the diff holes to the trans holes that is different. The D44 has the diff holes 15/16" closer to the trans holes than the D36.
