The answer to this is a tough one because i've thought about this before but it looks like theres too much interference with the rack & pinion. I don't think theres anything you can do to make it work honestly.

BTW,look at any summit book and look for the weiand 142/144 and 177 blowers. Then look at the bottom of that section and note,it will say will not fit 84-96 corvettes due to clearance reasons.

My Thoughts were ditch the serpentine setup..go with an 1 1/4 " 2v drive pulley ...I've got an electric W/P an only need alt and P/S belting..That should give me clearence on the cross member and the racknpinion ..maybe an 1 1/2"-1 3/4 with a cut down blower pulley spacer...Got an 8" snout along with the nine...If I could fit the drive pulley spacer in the crank pulley I would only be short about a 1/2"-3/4 for the blower pulley fitting in right now....Anyway It looks good on paper...Any ideas ??

It can be done.

The only times I've seen it though the guy had to cut the crossmember infront of the engine.
