96 headlight question

96 headlight question
My left headlight keeps making noise when ever I turn off the headlights. I think its the gear inside, I will open the inspection cover and look inside. Anyone performed this maintenance task? Is it a pain to replace?

Ecklers has the Bushing drive pins. I did this on my 96 and purchased a new delrin gear and drive bushings as trying to remove the the factory gear is hard to do with out hurting the teeth. Also file the new gear per the instructions that come with the parts from Ecklers. I removed the head light from the hood and did the repair on the bench. Took about two hours. The instructions from Ecklers were right on that came with the gear and bushings.
