I've got a SuperRam on my 86. I considered both but wanted the better low-end torque of the SR. I've been told that the SR is more suited to an auto than a 4+3, but I'm quite happy and even before it was tuned I was running mid-13's at 106 mph.

You might also want to consider an LT1 intake that's been modified to work with our engine setup (http://www.lt1intake.com/). The MiniRam is quite close in design to the LT1 intake, and the modded stock LT1 version is considerably cheaper (but not as cool looking, IMHO). It's better for high-end power than low-end torque because of the significantly shorter runners.
