Default Lost keys?

The keys for my 92 LT1 have disappeared to wherever lost keys go. Is the dealer the only option for replacements, or are they even an option?

If it's a VATS car like an 87 (mine) there are like 11 different resistor values in the keys. I will take up to an hour to find the right one, since the car won't do anything for 5 minutes after the wrong one is tried.
Any good locksmith can make a key. AAA includes making a new key in there service. Find a bud and he can call them and get it done for nothing.

More money than time:
If you search, someone posted a website that had vats blanks for $3.25 each not too long ago. 15 x 3.25 = $48.75 Any locksmith should be able to cut them.

More time than money:
have a lock smith cut a non vats key. Get resistors from radioshack for 30¢ each. 15 x 30¢ = $4.50 Once you find the one that works you can get the key cut with the pellet in it.
