MAT Sensor to hot
Has any one installed a MAT sensor relocation kit? I can't seem to get my error code 23 to go away.... I have allready replaced the sensor and did a circut check. it will only light the check eng. light after idleing for a few minutes but will go out after the rpm's come up....... I need to know where the sensor is relocated to, before the MAF? :chevy

The sensor is relocated in the back of the air cowl, just above the back fan and before the MAF.
Since all new cars that have this sensor have it located near the front of the car for more realistic temps, I think this is a good upgrade.

I relocated the IAC into the left side of air fiter lid since that item is easy to replace.
I got two relocation kits. The first (from MAD ??) didn't have enough wire length. The second (from TPIS ??) had plenty of wire length plus some nice spiral wrap to give a finished touch to the job.
Though a kit isn't required, I used one to minimize the hassle and give a very stock appearance.

I relocated mine on the left side of the air filter housing to the front of the MAF as well. Nice kit but mine was a PIA to install tho!! :mad
