Rear Wheel Bearing Research CONTINUTED

P/N found is from the inner race package ET-CRI-0846...NTN...JAPAN

Heres a shot with the outboard bearing group removed.
You can see the other bearing assembly still in place

I can't tell from the pictures -- are the outer races butted directly against each other?
What is the price of them with a group purchase?

That explains why the press I was using couldn't budge it. Time to find a bigger hammer!

The unfortunate thing, when comparing the C4 wheel bearing to my C2 wheel bearing is the spacing between the inner and outer bearings.
The C4 bearing assembly is simply much narrower which leaves no room to space the bearings apart -- and I don't know a way to solve that.
In the C2 and C3, the inner and outer bearings, in the bearing housing, are spaced about two inches apart -- for a wide stance.
Between the two bearings is a spacer and shims, the shims can be used to adjust the bearing play.
So, if the bearing develops play, it can be taken apart, greased, and readjusted.

I changed out my rear bearing about 3 years ago and it just came apart in my hand. It was roller bearings.
