What size is '90 Bose CD/FM/tape?
Will aftermarket double-DIN fit directly in place of Bose?

Anyone know what the '89 Bose radio size is? I want to replace it with an affordable aftermarket radio that fits the hole. I heard it was 1.5 din, or din and a half. Is that right? Also, if I amp the new rear speakers, do I run the pre-amp outputs to the amp, or the normal rear speaker output to the amp?

1984-1989 is 1.5 DIN.

I am guessing neither of you have ever heard of the Audio Section...

Check out the C4 Audio FAQ.

Actually, I read the entire Audio section. It is possible I missed it but I didn't see anywhere where it spelled out the size of the '84 to '89 radio. Most of the info on there is for '90 or newer. I always search before asking. I also read through the 3 pages of questions and answers, even tho it says NOT to ask questions in that thread. BTW, excellent job bogus, that is the best info I have found on C4 audio anywhere on the web. And thanks for the reply reassuring me it is 1.5 din, now I know what to get.
