L98 Sensor edjumakashun
This is how I look at it, your opinion may differ:
He's taking the time to post. Even if his sole intention is to anger you (which I don't believe it is) just take what you can from the post and move on. So far, CFI EFI has told you how the MAF sensor works, how you can attach additional sensors by drilling and taping holes, that there is a book about Chevrolet fuel injection that would be helpful to read, where to buy another service manual should not be able to find yours, and advised you to be careful that not all that is posted here is true.
I will go out on a limb and say that he's contributed more actual information than any other poster in this thread, sans possibly Bogus. Instead of being irritated by that, try to be grateful.
He really isn't trying to be mean I don't think, it's just the way he comes across. It's also comforting to know that 99% of the time, CFI EFI is passing out correct information. Regardless of the method of delivery, I'd rather have CFI EFI style correct information than the wrong information delivered with a smile and a blow job.
The moral of my story is take the good, leave the bad, and don't sweat the Internet.

However, your point is really NOT to help but harass me. Snide comments (as you inserted in your last post) support that.
I don't remember the brand of manual I have but it is specific to 1989 Corvettes as purchased at an auto parts store. And, in the past, I've sat and read it -- just for fun/knowledge. One thing I know is it doesn't have is a picture of EVERYTHING and WHERE it's located! Probably means I should spend more on another manual. Maybe a Helms. (I've only used Chilton's, Motor's, and other "aftermarket" versions).
Since 1975, I always went to the library and looked up what I needed to know -- or I asked friends. That has generally worked. The point is the manuals (I've seen) are designed for r/r. That's pretty much it. And, I started with my manual in August -- before delving into the TPI setup. As with manuals before, they're basic. To me, a good manual would list the tool, location, and pic for everything. They don't. OTOH, people here are better and want to be! (Well, most of them).
If you've got more time, I could explain how the last 3 years have been really crappy because of a pituitary tumor. But I don't want to bore you with my medical problems. You'd probably tell me which doctor I SHOULD have seen. Or what I SHOULD have done when insurance wouldn't pay for me to go to Mayo (as recommended by my neurologist).
STOP! I tell you what I should have done. I should report this thread as harassment -- for comments like I wouldn't know what a manual looked like. Or for politely asking you to refrain from responding (both privately and in a public thread). But, no, you insist on harassing me. And, that's what it is. You aren't trying to help. That's easy to see in your demeanor and sarcasm.
I can not argue that a manual wouldn't hurt. But, I can argue that you really don't want to help. And, I can argue that people WANT to help/talk. (I just spent 2 1/2 hrs talking to a member in Detroit just this week! Man, was HE nice!) Should I take a poll of how many people feel I've "taken advantage" of them? (besides you of course).
