Computers needed... Can anybody help?
Where is the best place to purchase replacement CCM and ABS computers. Both of mine are toast. I can get the ABS computer rebuilt for about $250. Is that a fair price? Electonics when they work are really cool, and when they don't ... bummer. Any insight, help appreciated.
Thanks

There is more to installing a new CCM than just putting it in. GM dealerships and Delco shops have proprietary Vetronix http://www.vetronix.com/main.html Tech-1A software to program the CCM for a particular vehicle with its options -- like ABS/ASR, C68 climate control, etc.
Vetronix will not supply this software to the "after-market" for fear it will be used inappropriately to alter the odometer reading. I have a Vetrtonix Tech-1A with all the GM software they will provide and I don't have that one.
