Half shaft ujoints
Just wandering at what milage have any you guys replaced the Half Shaft ujoints? I am trying to get an idea of the true mileage of my 93 vert. I replaced the driver side half shaft 10k miles ago and I am replacing the passenger side now.

89 vert. 200k.
did them at 150k. tranny is untouched so far at 200k

I think I replaced the drivers side at around 50k miles. The rest are originals as far as I know. Car has 75k on it now. From it's history, it looks like the first owner drove the car 10k in 16 years. Second owner drove it 14k in one year. I think setting around not being used was hard on it. Of coarse me driving it every day is wearing on it too. Either way I think stuff just wears out over time one way or the other. Low milers look like new anyway.

I just got back from my wandering. I appreciate the replies. I think my car has 120K on it based on the seat wear. The 1st owner was from Illinois so it has been exposed to some salt or just humid weather so this could have shorten the ujoint life but that is just a guess.
