Shifter **** removal
Hey, it's pretty easy. All you need is a small screwdriver (flat tip) and a snap ring removal tool. Take your small screwdriver and gently pry up on the sides of the button. Walk it out by prying on each side a little at a time. There is a retainer on each side that sticks down in to the **** that helps hold it in. Once you have gotten the button out, look down in the top and you will see a snap ring down in the ****. Once you remove the snap ring the **** will simply slip off the top of the shifter. Simply reverese the process to re-install your ****. HS
