Fx-3 controller
It installs in the compartment behind the drivers seat. Takes about 5 minutes to change it out.
The settings I'll have to let someone else handle. I did mine at the same time I had Bilstein re-valve the shocks. Mine are nowhere near stock. They start at where the "Sport" setting was, then in Sport it is at 80% locked and in Performance it is 100% locked.
If you go to my home page link in the signature and go to "Racing the Z07" the signature picture is a little larger. I'm doing about 65 in that picture around the carousel, and there is almost zero body lean in the car. I'm pulling 1.2 G's according to my g-Analyst equipment (do NOT mistake this for the g-Tech). It still rides nice on the highway, but the girlfriend is less-than-impressed with it. I think it rides fine (after all, I had a Z51 '86 before this car), so a little stiff in the ride is a normal thing for me...
You want to add FX3 to a car that did not come with it originally? I did that a few years ago, and I am glad I did it. You may find a lot of negative responses from some members for wanting to try this, but I for one can tell you it is very do-able. If you use all new parts, it can run in the $5000.00 range, if you go with good used parts, you can get it done for under $1500.00. If you want help or ideas, feel free to give me a ring 941-573-5895.
