Yep - I am in the market too.

THANKS RAYSUR!!!!

No if we can just get a pic of them installed.

Anyway - yest, for the LT1, the cat-back system is only replacement mufflers. Raysur says there is no resonance in his, but I had found another string here on the forum with someone that had installed, who said that he feld a real bad resonance probably between 1500-2000 rpm. I am trying to decide between these and Corsa's for Christmas. I like these because they are definitely cheaper. Price runs 399 for 2 of these, should be part number 15623. http://www.magnaflow.com

Price, I don't have a clue. But sound I do. I have the single inlet and single outlet muffler. The car does not resonate. I can resonate in underground parking lots though. The sound is very low and mean. My tape recorder can't pick the noise up at idle. It's fairly docile around town but screams at WOT. Ever since I got my mufflers (and "racer" plate) nobody will race me. All I have to do is rev it up. Then they back off. I was talking to an M3 owner and he said it sounds like my car makes 450 horsepower. He also said he wouldn't screw with me. I said thanks.

These are on 90 Callaway's convertible right now. He also has no resonance. It looks like the verts have none but the coupes show some. I guess it's because we have less cargo room.

I know there seems to be the discussion about resonance, and from what other folks have said, I think you are right, Raysur. It must be a coupe thing.

That being said - is there anyway to cost effectively deal with it? Sorta part of trying to maintain that cost savings over the Corsa's. I love em, but with buying new shoes, I need to pinch a little. These still look great, and sound great at throttle. Just gotta figure out the resonance stuff.

I'm wondering if I would be fine on resonance because at highway speeds with my gears I am above 1500-2000 RPM's.

Yeah its deffinately between those and Corsa's, the rolled tips are deffinately the coolest. I have 1 5/8s full length headers and y-pipe, so i'm pretty sure I need like a cat back for the rest of the exhaust correct?

Hey! Those are my mufflers! :D

Here is where I got them for $399.95-
http://thehitchshop.com/00_exhaust/00_exhaust_home.htm

They are straight up replacement mufflers for an LT1/LT4.

I have some pictures of them on the car that I'll try to post later. The look and sound great.

How much of a power gain would a stock L98 get with their y pipe and mufflers- I am interested in the 85-91 system they offer for $499.
