ASR acted up tonight

ASR acted up tonight
My ASR acted up tonight. I got in the car, started it up, and ASR OFF light was already on?? hmm.. I usually turn it off after starting the car. So, I proceeded to drive. Then I noticed that it (the light) was off all the sudden, so i tried to turn it back off (the asr), but it wouldn't go. I tried over and over.. and it wouldn't turn off.
So i pulled into a gas station, and turn the car off, and turned it back on.. same thing. ASR Off light was on and I could turn it off, but it wouldn't come back on.
Third time, I start her up, no ASR OFF light, I hit the button it says ASR OFF, ... uhh.. ok.. where did the gremlin's come from and WHERE DID THEY GO???! :confused: :confused: :confused:
Anyone else had this happen to them before?

I don't know, but I'd be checking the SWITCH first. Also look in the compartment behind the drivers seat and make sure there aren't any loose or corroded connections.

I had ASR off tonight out at the street race scene.. i think i should have left it on, cuz it was a little damp and I went sideways in an intersection!!! :eek: :eek:
Good thing I know how to drive well, or I would have been in a telephone pole! I'll leave ASR on from now on in all wet roads!
