I just wanted to post on here how please I am with PCM4less. I originally puchased a used hypertech which turned out to be bad. Everything worked but I could not get my speedo to read accurately. I took it to a speedometer shop and they tried to dial it in using the hypertech (just like I did) w/o success. they suggested that I call Hpertech which I did. they told me that the unit was too old and that I was not the orignal purchaser so they could not help me. I told them that while I understood their position I did not agree with it. I was not looking for a free replacement but thought they could have at least offered a small discount since I obviously wanted thier product. A post on here explaining this got me a reply to try out PCM4less. I went on their web site and filled out the form and ordered the service. I then sent them my whole PCM which they returned the same week I sent it. I installed it and now everything works perfectly! These guys are great and I cannot recommend them enough. While HT gives you the "illusion" that you can do it yourself at home I will never buy another one. PCM4less even offers the cable and software to do it (or modify it) at home with a laptop. On top of all this they are extremely responsive and fast.
get your local club together and have Brian fly out for a day of dyno tuning then you'll really be impressed.
Brian got me another 18 HP out of my 96 Impala just with some tweaking.
PCM4 Less is the only way to go
What happens if the Hypertech unit goes bad once it has been programed in the Vette.
I guess that the PCM should stay bloqued, or could not be altered with another programm, right?
Ordered a pcm today for my 94 and it was done and shipped todat also will have by friday.
Took care of Skipshift, lowered fan speeds to 220 and performance tune.
Great communication ect.
This sounds very interesting.... I guess taking the ECM off the car is not that difficult
It's easy but there is no need. I had a tune emailed to me for my 95. With a moates usb to OBD II cable you can upload the tune yourself.

Mine was programmed with a HyperTech that was lost in the flood. I overwrote the tune using my laptop with one from PCMFORLESS.
