My Lloyd Elliot ported LT1 heads & Intake arrived yesterday!
What a difference from the other set of eBay heads I bought last year!
his work looks very good - I hope to get some pics up by the weekend.
I was totally flabergasted by the weight difference of the intake manifold. It has been lightened by more than three pounds!!! I mean totally incredible.
What does he charge for strictly porting an LT1 in take and a set of heads?
Got any pics? Curious as to our comment, "seen better but have also seen worse"...

$1,400 for assembled heads only.

Simply that if you do a search on head flow numbers here and elsewhere you will find better numbers and worse numbers. You don't need to read anything into my comments. I'm pretty straight up guy
I bought a set of LT1 heads and ported intake from a f-body guy two years ago.
and never got around to putting them on my 94.....the heads and intake were ported by LE and the flow chart showed the munbers to be almost idential to LE2.... man i need to come up with some modding money before the holidays!
OK - I took a day off today to play with my new toys!
I'll try to answer your questions as good as I can.
1) Lloyd charged me around $200 additional for the intake manifold work, but I don't know if he would do just the intake without the heads.
2) I'm considering the Professional Products 58mm TB but not decided yet. I have held this one in my hand and I liked the quality of the component but I need to do some more research on them.
3) Turn around time was about three weeks, and I did get the cam from him. The cam specs were done by Bret Bauer. He specs all of Lloyds cams to match the end users requirements and car, then CompCams custom grinds the cams and drop ships them to the user.
Here are some photos of the heads and intake. I have pumped up the sharpening and contrast on these images to assist in seeing the detail, so thier actual appearance is not exactly so sharp as some of the photos might have you suspect.
