Default Procharging a 92

Hey I have a 92 6 speed with 70,000 miles on it. I was just wondering if anybody thinks installing a procharger would just be asking for engine problems. The car runs strong and does not use a drop of oil. I just want some more power out of it. Thanks

We have done many installations on higher mileaged cars and we only had one that developed ring seal problems that I can think of. We installed an ATI ProCharger D-1SC on an '94 Corvette that had close to 200,000 miles on it. This original owner of this really clean Corvette knew that it could develop problems with ring seal, but he wasn't too concerned about it. It started blue smoking several months after we did the install. This customer has received a lot of traffic tickets at some pretty high speeds, so he does drive this Corvette the way it was made to run. Bob
