The long Accordion like intake duct on the MAP cars, does anyone sell a smooth replacement for less turbulence? Plus my original one spit though I repaired that for the time being.
You can find the smooth duct at Summit Racing, MAD or any good corvette catalogue. I think it is a bit expensive, $49 when an original is less than $15.

Re: intake duct! (importeater)
Well, the Mid America ones are pretty crappy in my opinion. Mine split at the seam after a few months. The real deal are the Samco hoses/air ducts. Too bad they only make them for speed density Vettes as someone else mentioned. Do they work? Maybe the cfm of the accordion style ducts is sufficient to feed most warmed over street engines, but just for peace of mind I'd like to have one (for my warmed over street engine, that is!) :chevy

Where can I find more out about this for my SD 91? :D
