dimming when alternator kicks in??
about a minute or two after i start up the car, sometimes all the lights go dim for a split second. after that initial incident, all is OK. i'm guessing it's when the alternator switches for higher loads.
sun goes down real early now, so it's more apparent when i got the headlights on. pretty freaky having all your lights dim at once. engine seems unaffected though - very strange.
battery voltage is about 14.5, so the alternator's doing its job for now. but is this a sign that it is on it's way out?
