I had the exact same problem on mine when I bought it. Took it back to the dealer where I got it and they replaced the plugs & wires. Solved the problem completely.
I've been having that same problem. I have all the service records on this car, and the optispark, wires, and plugs have NEVER been changed. The car now has 102K on it. So, I'm hoping the new opti, plugs, & wires will correct the problem...might even get a little better fuel economy.
I figure it's either fuel or fire. If the new stuff doesn't improve it any, I'm going with a new filter, pump, pressure regulator, and injectors. it WILL be better sooner or later.
Do the plugs and wires. My L98 had a miss I was going completely out of my mind trying to find! It turned out to be a bad plug wire. It's usually something simple.
