Default C-4 headers

Hello. pretty new to this so need to input on the following.
Looking for great headers and exhaust to replace the stock system.
Local corvette shop says to go with 4 into 2 to retain lowend power.

tri-y's make best low end, 180*'s make best overall...neither FIT well underhood and both cost far more than ''garden variety'' 4into2 types...your tiny oem ''shorties'' will give more ''bottom'' end torque than any other.

The best out there would be an equal length, stepped Tri-Y header feeding into an X-pipe and out to dual outlets.

The best *practical* is a 4 into 1 header (don't worry about equal length), into an X-pipe and out to dual outlets.

If you're stock or near stock L98, try to find a 1-5/8" primary header. If you're highly modded L98 or LTx, go with a 1-3/4". If you've gone BIG on the HP, go with a 1-7/8" primary, but you need over 600+ HP before you need that big.

Remember, the above are general rules of thumb.
