the old racers trick was to put spray paint on the exhaust pipes and make a few runs.where the paint stopped burning off was where the crossover was put.
on a car with cats i agree after the cats if possible but on our cars space can be the limitation.for example i have long tubes with an x-pipe in place of the stock resonator and my bullet cats after that.they would'nt clear my cross frame up front.
