Default Car died.... now what ?

Early 86 HT/Auto I've put less than 100 miles on the car this year and with winter coming thought I would check it over before the deep freeze hit. I had trouble starting it and keeping it running at first then drove about 1/4 mile and it started running bad like the maf went out (had this happen before) I unplugged it and it would idle so I headed home slowly and 600 feet from home it started to die at about 300-500 rpm with the low coolant light, check engine light, and low voltage light on lucky for me I was able to place it in neutral and coast to a parking spot. I got out my trusty paper clip to pull codes and nothing happened I tried a different clip and different pin locations and still nothing.......so now what ? Yes I had the key on and the instrument lights where on but no flashing... ???

What happens when you try to start the car?

With the ignition on, engine off, as when preparing to pull codes, is the check engine light on? It is supposed to be. If not, check for a burned out bulb. If the check engine light isn't on, and the bulb is good, it's time to pull out the FSM.

RACE ON!!!

I would start with the basics: fuel and spark.

Put a timing light on one of your plug wires to see if it lights while you crank. That will indicate if you are getting spark.

Put a fuel pressure guage on the shrader valve and check for 39 or so lbs of fuel.

Update

I got it running with a little research on here, found the fuel pump relay was bad. As for not being able to pull codes I still can't figure that one out I must of done something wrong because when I went back to do my testing with the flow charts it worked fine. Oh....... no codes where set by the way.
