Default Ram Air hood?

Hey guys I'm looking at buying C4 that seriously needs a new hood. Anyone know of an aftermarket company makes a ram air hood for c4's? Or if anyone has any other suggestions other than a ram air that would be great. I just think a ram air hood on a c4 would look prettty sweet, but have never seen one on a c4.--Thanks ---Alan

there isn't much out there to choose from for hoods. Most popular are the toledo pro. Mine is a Greenwood, Mold Kraft. Its a bolt on. It can either be nonfunctional or functional

http://www.greenwoodcorvettes.net/gc4/hood.htm- Greenwood
http://greenwoodvette.com/options.htm- Mold Kraft

Quality is just about the same for both just that Mold Kraft is cheaper.
They are a bolt on.

RickReeves1 -

Where did you get the pic of that car with the hi-rise? That looks exactally what I have been wanting forever. I found someone else that sells them, but it looks different than that one!

http://www.vanacorvette.com/page4.htm

The difference is the ones in the site I am posting here is the high rise comes all the way to the front, whereas the one you posted is more "molded" in and comes out of the hood.

Any leads anyone???

Not sure. I just save pics of cars I like. I think it came from this place. See the red one at the top of the page.

Making the Mold Kraft/Greenwood scoops funtional on the 84 is easy. the "nostrils" are located directly into the duct work of the 84 hood. As you know the "ducts" in the CFI hood flow directly into the air cleaner lid.

85 and up I'm not sure how they are directing air flow into the TPI but I'm interested to know as well.
