I've had C3's, C4's, C5's and C6's on the lift and the Vette that flexes the most is the C4 but not enough to cause hatch and door problems. While on the lift it never fails that we have to open a door or hatch. I've never had a problem yet. The four lifting pads on my lift are very level which may help considerably. Just driving the car on uneven roads and pot holes have to harded on it than simple lifting. I personally think it is just a wives tail.
