I was thinking about some upgrades and just wanted to get ya'lls ideas - what about a set of 1.6rr's and upgraded valve springs along with cut air box and a pcmforless tune. I like the stock exhaust but will not changing really hold the car back? Do you have any suggestions for additional mild mods.
Thanks

A set of 4:10 gears and some long tube headers would be the best two mods for your car in my humble opinion. The cut air box costs nothing so yeah what the hell. Lots of people love the pcm tunes I have NO experience with them so I can't help ya.
Unless your doing more on your engine or have remove items and need things changed, a tune chip will help but not greatly...
If your doing 1.6, springs, guides, seals, then you'll next look at LT headers and exhaust, hi flow cat, etc. Maybe Port TB and Runners, to get the best bang for the buck..
Then the other biggest bang is Torq Converter and Rear Gears, all together, + chip tune to specs with mods and you'll have a good boost.

See my signature, you will not be sorry if you do the same mods I did....
